The Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati kicks off its Homearama event June 11. The 49th Homearama will feature five single-family homes ranging in price from $550,000 to $850,000.
During Homearama, Terry said Carriage Hill will be open for the public to view the 400-acre development. Carriage Hill is located less than two miles from Foxborough, home to this year’s home show event.
Guests at Carriage Hill will be able to meet the preferred builders, view the development plans and tour the historic carriage house. Randy Terry and his brother Todd are the principals of Liberty Land Co. Terry said there is a growing need for quality-developed lots in Liberty Township
Homes sales in the Butler County Township fell more than 22 percent last year, to 351 from 453 in 2009.
With plans calling for homes priced at $300,000 to nearly $1 million, Terry is looking for move-up buyers to purchase lots for single family homes. The average sale price for a home in Liberty Township was roughly $205,000, more than $61,000 higher than the overall average for Southwest Ohio.
Home sales are only off slightly in booming Liberty Township, according to data from the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati. Through April, 95 homes have been sold in the township this year, down from 103 last year and 105 in 2009.
